National Teachers’ Congress Confer Lifetime Achievement Award on Dr. Achyuta Samanta

National Teachers’ Congress (NTC) conferred the ‘Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar’ (Lifetime Achievement Award) upon Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS at its 4th annual session (online) at MIT World Peace University, Pune on 18th December 2020. The award was given to Dr. Samanta for his lifetime contribution to development of education by the Governing Council of National Teachers’ Congress.




The conferment of award was held online at the Valedictory Session of the meet. Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan; Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Hon’ble Union Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; UNESCO Chair Holder Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder & Chief Patron, MAEER’s MIT, Pune & President, MIT World Peace University were present at the online valedictory session. It was virtually attended by over 8,000 teachers from Undergraduate and Postgraduate colleges of all streams and disciplines from India and abroad.

 Thanking the organizers, Dr. Samanta said, “I am happy that you have constituted National Teachers’ Congress and hold its session every year. I am humbled and grateful that NTC has chosen me for the Lifetime Achievement Award”.
