Kandhamal MP, Dr Achyuta Samanta demanded an excellent initiative with the help of a knowledge-driven approach from a leading institute of industrial technology that would make it easy to carry out the initiative of rail connectivity in Kandhamal. After winning the position in the district, Kandhamal has come up with different initiatives for the betterment of common people. Kandhamal is a constituency where Dr. Achyuta Samanta won the position and wanted to improve rail connectivity and approach the rail ministry with the same urge.

Improving rail connectivity would help boost the development and bring in better economic prosperity in travel and tourism. He noticed the stagnant condition of the project that was proposed years back. Being the founder of a famous institute like KIIT that is known in the field of rural management, he should take care of the project. With a holistic approach, it should be able to fulfil the project and implement it successfully, just like his other works and projects.

Being the founder, he has always thought for educational equity and tried to be the voice of tribal groups and take care of those deprived of opportunities and education. This educational revolution actually helped the deprived classes in Odisha, and with this, Samanta started to work on other revolutionary movements for the common good as well. After setting up KIIT, Samanta wanted to set up more branches in 20 other districts in Odisha for the help of students. Each of these educational institutes would help with lodging, education, and food for the children.

Samanta intended to offer help to the deprived sections with educational support and support to the tribal groups. He had a struggling life since childhood as he lost his early in a train accident when he was just four years old. This is when he grew up amidst challenges in life but managed to complete his studies. As he suffered during his young days, understanding the condition of the tribal classes, he wanted to extend his help to them and change their lifestyle. The main idea is to help students of the deprived class pursue the education of their choice that would help them set up their enterprise and get a better way to earn their living on their own. This is how they would start to support their family, and this has been his main motive to extend education and other support to the deprived sections.
