KIIT School of Languages Organises Online Panel Discussion on IELTS Preparatory

KSOL or KIIT School of Languages conducted an Online Panel Discussion to welcome a total of 129 students formally from several Departments and Schools of the KIIT-DU or Deemed to be University to its 8 varied Language Proficiency Certified courses of the 3rd Session from July to September 2021.

   

Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, the Registrar at KIIT-DU, Dr. Saranjit Singh, Director-IEC & Placements and Dr. Biswajit Das, Dean, KSOL, graced the event. They motivated the students who have newly joined with their insights and remarks on different industry perspectives of learning a foreign language.

There are two brand new courses launched by KSOL, namely, IELTS Preparatory or Odia Language Proficiency and Advanced English, for the present session, along with six other courses. There are a total of 129 enrolments registered for the Third Session from 15 varied Schools of the KIIT-DU, staff, faculty members and even relatives.

The biggest contributors to this Third Session admissions were Schools of Computer Engineering, Electronics and Law Engineering with 34, 17 and 28 enrolments, respectively. Spanish, French and German have become the topmost language preferences with the enrolment of 22, 27 and 28 students, respectively. Arabic, Japanese and Communicative English courses have 3, 11 and 13 enrolments, respectively. There were two brand new courses that did quite well, with the Odia language going with 9 enrolments and Advanced English with 16 enrolments.

The trainers of all the seven languages, namely Ms Sally Saleh (Arabic); Ms Amrita Chhotaroy (Communicative English & IELTS Preparatory); Mr Subhrangshu Mohanty (French); Dr Pramodini Jena (Odia); Mr Pravin Kumar Gupta (German), Mr Asit Swarnakar (Spanish) and Ms Prajna De Nandi (Japanese) welcomed their language students with some of the most motivational words.

KSOL or KIIT School of Languages invited the participation of staff members, faculty members and students of the KIIT Group of Institutions for the Online Panel Discussion and even a Question-Answer session called IELTS Preparatory- Ask the Experts to be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 4.30 PM IST. This IELTS Orientation Event is being organised by the British Council Certified IELTS Trainers based in Bangalore in coordination with KSOL.

For the uninitiated, IELTS is the International English Language Testing System which is the most well-known English Language test in the world. The IELTS is managed jointly by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English. This English Language test is accepted by over 10000 organisations in more than 140 nations.

As for KSOL, the KIIT School of Languages is continuously working towards empowering individuals by imparting them cost-effective and value-based Foreign Language Courses for developing globally-acclaimed cultural sensitivities, competitive edge and skill-set to grab success across the world.
