Why We Are the Most Stylish Dining Joint in BKC?

The Bandra Kurla Complex, popularly known as BKC, is Mumbai’s newest corporate hub with MNCs tightly packed in ultra-modern structures and stylish offices stationing uber-cool head hunters, all zooming to scale the corporate ladder. As our very first retail and independent eatery comes into operation at Jio World Drive, the cream of the corporate world blooms on our French styled patisserie and viennoiserie making it the best restaurants for dining in Bandra Kurla Complex. With a very relaxed seating plan for a wide variety of groups, Cou Cou becomes a very hot dining destination.

“We at COU COU wish to create a patisserie which keeps the flavours and the essence of the ingredients used to its most natural form. Keeping flavours authentic, without additives is what we aim at. Our endeavour is to introduce new flavours using a base of strong high-quality ingredients. We have tried to keep the look and feel of our cakes, pastries as natural as possible,” exclaims Chef Pratik, known for his dedicated career at the Trident hotel in Mumbai.

The cuisine is very much french in its origin but very relatable and adjusted to the Indian palate. The menu is light and flexible which would entail a very light food experience where one can decompress and relax and not gorge on heavy meals. Coupled with wines and beer, the menu fits those who would unwind after a hectic day of work or the people who’d like to catch up with their loved ones.

“The type of products we have will encourage people to try more things. In a heavy meal, one will have one thing and be done. But here there is a chance to try a lot of things in a single experience, so you can start with a coffee and croissant, then move to something filling like a puff, quiche, one of the sandwiches or our savoury hot pantry menu like a Croque sandwich and end the meal with a dessert.”

There is a lot of stress on revising the menu every 2-3 months with weekend specials pouring in on the sides, and of course, a lot depends on the kind of feedback from the guests. The daily timings of the eatery are 11 am to 10:30 pm.

The most popular items are the plain butter French croissants, sandwiches, smoked salmon basil avocado croissants, pastries like the Red Fruit Tart and Ispahan. Exotic crepes are made with white asparagus, some dishes with black truffles and truffle oil, while artichokes and avocados along with fresh exotic red currants from Australia appear on the menu.
