KIIT NSS Electronics Organises Awareness Program on Omicron with Food & Mask Distribution

KIIT NSS Bureau, School of Electronics Engineering, conducted food and mask distribution initiative for spreading awareness on the Omicron variant of Coronavirus at the Tangibanta village on January 8, 2022. Prof. Sruti S. Singh, the NSS Program Officer at KIIT, led the volunteers of this awareness campaign.

            


With the third wave of the pandemic taking the entire country by storm, there are many individuals who do not have a place to live, nor do they have food for feeding their empty stomachs. These people are struggling 24/7 to survive in these difficult times. The volunteers of the KIIT NSS Electronics: Project Lakshya gave out over 70 food packets along with 100 marks to the village people. They even showed their gratitude towards the Founder, KIIT & KISS. Dr. Achyuta Samanta; Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sasmita Samanta; Program Coordinator- NSS, KIIT-DU, Prof. Kajal Parashar and the KIIT NSS Electronics Program Officers for their consistent guidance and support.
