KIIT-ITI Organizes Freshers’ Day ‘KALIKAZ 2023’

KIIT-ITI or Industrial Training Institute, the very first constituent branch of KIIT Group of Institutions organized “KALIKAZ 2023”, the Freshers’ Day successfully and with great pomp and show. KIIT-ITI staff members and students participated in this event enthusiastically as they welcomed the freshers into the KIIT-ITI family.


Among the honorable dignitaries to grace the event, there was Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KISS & KIIT, the Secretary of KISS & KIIT, Shri R.N. Dash, Prof. Saranjit Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of KIIT-DU, the Registrar Prof. J.R. Mohanty and Prof. S.C. Swain.

Prof, Achyuta Samanta, in his address to the students, said that KIIT-ITI is the foundation stone of KIIT. With more than 80,000 students, the KIIT has now grown into a world-class educational institution, completely different from the way it stood during its inception. Further, Dr. Achyuta Samanta emphasized on the exclusive career scopes available at KIIT-ITI to students pursuing Degree, Diploma, Post-Graduation and Ph.D degrees. The founder also announced full financial aid for students scoring about 70% in their Class-X examination.

KIIT & KISS Secretary, Shri R.N. Dash emphasized skill education at KIIT-ITI and recommended that the students be very serious about their careers. Focusing on the significance of skill, Prof. Saranjit Singh, the Vice-Chancellor at KIIT-DU said that skill education is the industry focus at present and will continue for minimum two to three decades. Further the KIIT-DU Registrar shared his opinion on the progress of the School, motivating the newly-admitted students during his address.

On event commencement, the KIIT-ITI Principal congratulated all the newly-admitted students for taking this decision of joining the institute. Further, he emphasized the significance of determination, resilience and hard work as these qualities can help them take over obstacles and achieve success in their endeavors.
