Celebrating the Art of Giving- Theme Let's AOG Launched by Dr. Achyuta Samanta

On Friday, the 60-day countdown to AOG's 10th-anniversary celebration began with the announcement of a new theme - Helping the Help — by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS, and Art of Giving.

 

Dr. Samanta seeks to spread love and joy around society with the AOG movement, which reflects his life philosophy and was first started in 2013. Since its inception, this innovative mission has expanded its reach to every part of the country and over 120 nations.

 

Elaborating on the concept of 'helping the help,' Dr. Samanta explained that the goal is to reciprocate the happiness provided by someone who brings comfort and joy to one's life through assistance. It's about giving joy to others. If your words and actions bring happiness to someone, that embodies the philosophy of the art of giving. He has promoted this philosophy over the years and encouraged everyone to share this message.

 

The Founder shared a personal anecdote, revealing that he has been serving tea to his domestic help every morning at his home for the past two years to return the warmth received. Leading up to the event over the next 60 days, he urged students of the University and all other members of society to actively spread the message and raise awareness about the importance of assisting those who contribute to our well-being.

 

The event was attended by Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor of KIIT DU, Pro-VC Prof. Saranjit Singh, Registrar Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, and various other dignitaries.
